Wine & Dine: A Local's Introduction to Eating and Sipping Around El Dorado Hills

One of the things I love most about living and working in El Dorado Hills is that a great evening out never has to mean a long drive. Between El Dorado Hills Town Center, nearby Folsom, and El Dorado wine country just up the hill, we have an easy mix of relaxed patios, family dinners, date-night tables, and winery afternoons.

If you are new to the area — or thinking about making it home — here is how I tell clients to start exploring:

- Make Town Center your weeknight default. It is built for strolling, meeting friends, and turning dinner into an evening, with the lake and plaza as your backdrop.

- Save a Saturday for wine country. El Dorado County wineries are known for being welcoming and unhurried, and Apple Hill in the fall is a tradition for many local families.

- Let Folsom be your variety night. From its historic district to Palladio, it adds range when you want something different without leaving the area.

Great homes are about lifestyle as much as square footage — and this is a big part of the lifestyle here. If you are considering a move to El Dorado Hills, Folsom, or the surrounding communities, I would love to show you around, on the ground and at the table.
